Soror (Dr.) Patricia Thomas

Mu Chapter

2021 - 2023

Soror (Dr.) Patricia Thomas has been a proud member of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Mu Chapter, Montgomery, Alabama since March 2013.  She served on several positions, including Mu Chapter President from 2019 to 2021.  Prior to being elected President, Soror Thomas served two years as the 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, 2016 to 2019 FIL Coordinator, and 2016 Dean of Intake.  During her presidency, Dr. Thomas was instrumental in re-activating Delta Rho Chapter, an Undergrad Chapter at Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL.  Also, leading Mu Chapter’s membership growth from 14 to 32 Sorors. Dr. Thomas serves our country as a Colonel in the USAF Reserve and is currently assigned to Pacific Command located in Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. 
 

She is also the Director of Contracting at Alabama State University.  Recently, Soror Thomas received the Defense Superior Service Medal, becoming only a few African American Females to have ever received this recognition, she is also, the first African American Female to obtain the rank of Colonel in the United States Air Force from Attala County, Mississippi, her hometown.

Soror Andrea Rogers Mosley

Mu Chapter

2021 - 2023

Andrea Rogers Mosley currently serves as director for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Alabama State University since 2010.   America’s SBDC network recently selected her as the 2021 Alabama State Star for demonstrating exemplary performance and significant contributions to her network, and deep commitment to the success of America’s small businesses. She is passionate about helping small businesses survive and thrive.  In the last five years, she has helped more than 80 businesses successfully start and provided over 1,200 hours of one-on-one advisement.  She honorably served as an active duty service member in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993 and is a Desert Shield and Desert Storm Veteran.  She holds a B.S in Human Resource Management from Troy University and an M.A. in Human Services: Counseling Business from Liberty University.   Andrea has been a proud and active member of the Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc Mu Chapter since 2016.
