Renee' Evans Hinton

Soror Renee’ Evans Hinton is a proud native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She is a graduate of Shaw University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.

In March 2000, she was inducted into the Upsilon Chapter of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., where she quickly became an active and dedicated member. Her commitment to excellence and service was recognized when she received the distinguished honor of Iota Woman of the Year in April 2003. Throughout her tenure with the chapter, she held numerous leadership positions, faithfully serving until March 2015.

Soror Hinton continues to demonstrate her passion for sisterhood and service through her active involvement at both the Regional and National levels of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. She is currently a member of the Zazzy Zeta Theta Chapter in Charlotte, North Carolina.

With an accomplished professional career spanning 38 years in the accounting field, Soror Hinton brings both experience and dedication to everything she does. One of her most memorable moments in the sorority occurred at the 86th Regional Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was elected and installed as Assistant Regional Director of the Southern Region—a testament to her
leadership, commitment, and lasting impact.
